Q: WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY PROJECT? WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
A: The earlier you reserve, the better! This allows me to schedule accordingly and have enough time for everyone. Turnaround time depends on the quantity and specific details of your order. Please do allow at least 3 weeks between your booking and expected completion date to avoid any rush fees.
Q: DO I NEED TO PUT DOWN A DEPOSIT?
A: Yes, along with returning your signed contract, I require 50% of the order cost to reserve your project.
Q: WHEN AND HOW DO I PAY MY REMAINING BALANCE?
A: For almost all projects, I will send an invoice once I complete your artwork. I ask that you pay this invoice prior to picking up. I will send an invoice that can be paid electronically. If you are unable to pay before pick up, you will have 7 business days to pay the remaining balance before incurring late fees.
Q: WHO SUPPLIES THE PAPER STOCK, CHALKBOARDS, MIRRORS, ETC.?
A: For chalkboards, canvas and most wood, I can provide the material but am happy to work on something you already have! Send me a photo along with the dimensions and I'll send you a quote. Please note that additional charges may apply if re-painting is required.
As of right now, I do not provide mirrors but have a few local rental companies that I work with. Send me a message and we'll get it sorted!
For stationary services, usually the client provides the materials. If you'd like me to help take care of that step, I can supply upon request. I will discuss these options with you to ensure that the paper goods chosen will compliment your order and depending on the details, there may be additional cost. (To keep your invitation suite consistent, I do recommend ordering your envelopes through the same company, however, I'd love to address them for you!)
For any other materials such as marble tiles, leaves, leather, agate slices, driftwood, glass bottles etc., these are typically provided by the client. I'm happy to source the materials for your unique idea at a small fee for time and cost of material.
Q: DO I NEED TO PROVIDE EXTRA ENVELOPES OR PAPER GOODS?
A: Yes, you will need to supply approximately 15-20% extra to account for errors or additional requests.
Q: HOW LONG DOES ENVELOPE ADDRESSING/CALLIGRAPHY TAKE?
A: In the busy wedding season and around the holidays, my time does book up quickly, so to avoid disappointment, feel free to reach out as early as you can. Turn around time depends on the details and quantity of your order but there must be at least 3 weeks between your booking confirmation and the expected completion date to avoid any rush fees.
Q: WHAT IF I HAVENT LEFT 3 WEEKS FOR MY PROJECT?
A: I cannot always guarantee that there will be time available to accommodate rush orders, however, if I am able, rush orders can be made possible. These orders may incur an additional 20-40% surcharge on top of the regular cost of the order.
